  • Archaeologist: those who study material remains of past human life, like fossils, artifacts, and monuments.
  • Astronomer: a scientist who studies astronomy (“celestial objects, space, and the physical universe as a whole”). Oxford Dictionaries.

  • FDA: The Food and Drug Administration is a federal agency responsible for making sure that most foods, drugs, and medical devices comply with certain safety and health rules.   • Hoax: an act intended to deceive, not a real/natural occurrence.
  • Infinite: “Limitless or endless in space, extent, or size; impossible to measure or calculate. Oxford Dictionaries.
  • Light-Year: a unit of length in astronomy equal to the distance that light travels in one year in a vacuum or about 5.88 trillion miles (9.46 trillion kilometers). Merriam-Webster.
  • NIH: The National Institutes of Health is the main federal agency dedicated to medical/health research. They employ a lot of scientists and clinicians and support a lot of research for the discovery of new vaccines and medical drugs.   • Pandemic: An outbreak of a disease that occurs over a wide geographic area and affects an exceptionally high proportion of the population. Merriam-Webster.

  • Skeptical: Having doubts about statements (news, pictures, videos, etc.) that seem "too good to be true" (that's our own definition).
  • Solar System: our sun and the planets that move around it.
  • Supernatural: something unnatural, “attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature”. A term usually given to something that is said cannot be explained by nature or science. Oxford Dictionaries.
  • Testimony: a formal written or spoken statement, especially given in a court of law. Also: evidence or proof provided by the existence or appearance of something. Oxford Dictionaries.
  • Vague: Not clear, not having or giving enough details or information about something. Oxford Dictionaries.
